Metronomy have announced two special collections to mark their 20th anniversary, set for release on 5th September via Because Music.

The electronic alt-pop group are releasing 'Greatest Hits', featuring 20 of their most beloved tracks spanning their seven studio albums, alongside 'BBC Sessions', which includes 17 previously unreleased live recordings captured for the BBC between 2009 and 2019.

The collections represent Metronomy's evolution since their formation in 1999 by Joseph Mount, documenting their journey from experimental electronic beginnings to sophisticated pop creators. Two tracks from the 'BBC Sessions' collection - 'The Look' and 'On Dancefloors' - are available now.

'Greatest Hits' will be released in multiple formats, including a standard 2xLP edition, a coloured special edition 2xLP, and a 2xCD edition. The 'BBC Sessions' recordings will be included with the 2xCD edition and will also be available as a standalone 2xLP release.
