Miley Cyrus has announced her new album '
Something Beautiful', set for release via Columbia Records on 30th May.
The album, which follows 2023's '
Endless Summer Vacation', features 13 tracks and was co-produced by Cyrus alongside Shawn Everett, known for his engineering work on Kacey Musgraves' 'Golden Hour'.
The album will include a visual component, with Cyrus telling Harper's Bazaar: "I have this heart-first attachment to it. The visual component of [my album] is driving the sound. It was important for me that every song has these healing sound properties. The songs, whether they're about destruction or heartbreak or death, they're presented in a way that is beautiful, because the nastiest times of our life do have a point of beauty."
The album's artwork, shot by fashion photographer Glen Luchford, features Cyrus wearing archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture. In November 2024, Cyrus cited Pink Floyd's 'The Wall' as a reference point for the project, highlighting "hypnotizing and glamorous" energy as a goal.
The album is now available for pre-order across various formats, including CD, vinyl, and box set packages.
