Bristol three-piece line up October headline run alongside fresh album taster.

MOULD have shared new single ‘Lucid’, the latest preview of their forthcoming debut album ‘Hoping As A Coping Mechanism’.
The Bristol trio’s new track premiered on BBC 6 Music via Huw Stephens last night ahead of its release today. The album arrives on 10th July via 5dB Records.
Produced by Sean Oakley, ‘Hoping As A Coping Mechanism’ was written in Bristol and recorded at London’s 5dB Studios. Previous singles from the record include ‘Float’, ‘Falling Posture’ and ‘Lists’.
Speaking about ‘Lucid’, vocalist and guitarist Joe Sherrin said: “Suppressing what we want to do or say, the last line is ‘there's more to life than stability’ which is telling the voice of the rest of the song ‘life's too short for worrying, worryhead!’”
Alongside the new single, MOULD have also announced a run of UK headline shows for October, including dates at London’s Oslo Hackney, Manchester’s YES Basement and Bristol’s Thekla.
The band will also appear at Download Festival next month ahead of the album’s release.
