PinkPantheress has released a brand new track, ‘
Boy’s a liar’.
The single follows her recent solo comeback effort,
‘Do you miss me?’, which came after a feature on the official soundtrack for Marvel’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.
The Londoner kicked off 2022 with
a remix mixtape and has also collaborated with
Mura Masa on ‘bbycakes’,
WILLOW on ‘Where you are’, and
Sam Gellaitry on ‘Picture in my mind’. Her 2021 debut mixtape, ‘
to hell with it’, was praised as “something really very special indeed” by Dork in
a 4-star review.
Although her UK live appearances are few and far between, she packed out the Dance tent at Reading Festival earlier this summer, with
Dork’s review noting the set as, “a stark representation of how those TikTok numbers translate to IRL listeners”.
Speaking on the new track, which was written and produced alongside friend and “stan”
Mura Masa,
PinkPantheress has shared: “‘
Boy's a liar’ is the song I'm most excited to put out! Me and
Mura Masa wanted to create a fun track together about a common theme this time of year, boys being LIARS”.
