POLICE CAR COLLECTIVE are introducing Starkid & The Disco King with their new track, ‘Famous’

The track is taken from a second EP, set to follow early in 2022.

Liverpool-based duo POLICE CAR COLLECTIVE have released a new single ‘FAMOUS’.

‘FAMOUS’ is “an ode to the internet generation,” says Frankie from the band, “packed with references to drugs, chemical imbalances, and Kanye.”

The official music video, a short film titled ‘The Saga of Starkid & The Disco King’ was written, styled, directed and edited by the band.

“’FAMOUS’ introduces the world to Starkid & The Disco King, characters that only exist within the internet,” they explain. “Everyone has a version of themselves they want to be seen as online, and Starkid & The Disco King are how Frankie and Simon wish to be seen respectively.”

‘FAMOUS’ is taken from a second EP due for release early next year. You can check out the video below.
