Ariana Grande has announced her eighth studio album, ‘petal’, and shared its lead single, ‘hate that i made you love me’.
The album will arrive on 31st July via Republic Records and marks Grande's first full-length release since 2024's ‘eternal sunshine’. The new single was co-written and produced by Grande alongside longtime collaborators Max Martin and ILYA.
An accompanying video for ‘hate that i made you love me’, directed by Christian Breslauer and shot by Academy Award-winning cinematographer Janusz Kaminski, is set to premiere on 1st June.
The announcement comes ahead of Grande's upcoming ‘Eternal Sunshine Tour’, which begins in Oakland on 6th June and includes a London date at The O2.
‘petal’ follows a busy period for Grande, which has included her starring role as Glinda in the ‘Wicked’ film series. More details about the album are expected ahead of its release this summer.
