RAYE has enlisted Hans Zimmer for yet another 5-star new track, 'Click Clack Symphony'

RAYE has released 'Click Clack Symphony', a collaboration with legendary composer Hans Zimmer. The track serves as another preview from her forthcoming second album 'This Music May Contain Hope', the follow-up to 'My 21st Century Blues'.

Describing the inspiration behind the single, RAYE said: "The song is about the sounds that high heels make. It's about those times in our life when you need your best friends or your siblings to drag you out of the house and say 'I know you're not in the best place right now but we need to get outside'. Thank goodness for those people in our lives that help us in our dark times."

Previously released tracks from the record include 'Where Is My Husband!', which arrived last September, and 'Nightingale Lane', performed live at the 2026 BRIT Awards. The album's tracklist is structured around four "seasons", with each side of the vinyl edition dedicated to a different one.

Discussing her approach to the record, RAYE said: "Music is medicine, I've always said that. I guess I'm in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world. I want us all to say to ourselves that it's going to be all right, and I'm going to have faith in the seeds that I've planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it."

The road to the album's completion was not straightforward. Back in 2024, RAYE revealed that work on her second record had been delayed after her car was stolen with her songwriting books inside. The following October, she shared that the car had been recovered with the books "untouched".

'Click Clack Symphony' has already featured in RAYE's live set. Her 'This Tour May Contain New Music' tour launched in Lodz, Poland in January before moving through Europe and into the UK with stops in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin. North American dates follow through the spring, with further UK appearances scheduled for later in the year, including two nights at The O2 in London and headline sets at Reading & Leeds. She will additionally join Bruno Mars as support on his 'The Romantic Tour' across North America.
