Rina Sawayama has shared a new video for ‘Hold The Girl’ – watch

It is taken from her upcoming album of the same name, arriving on 16th September.

Rina Sawayama has shared the video for her album title track, ‘Hold The Girl’.

It sees Rina team up again with director Ali Kurr. The pair have worked together on previous videos ‘Bad Friend’ and ‘STFU’.

It follows up on the previously aired ‘This Hell’ and ‘Catch Me In The Air’ in previewing the new album, set for release on 16th September via Dirty Hit.

Speaking previously about the track, Rina explained, “’Hold the Girl’ was the first song I wrote for the record at the end of 2020 – I had gone to therapy and had a revelation, so I decided to write this song…that was the start of it. I was crying before going into the studio to write about it.”
