New single 'Nosedive' accompanies, plus UK and Ireland headline tour dates.

Rosa Walton, known for her role in experimental pop duo Let’s Eat Grandma, has announced her debut solo album 'Tell Me It’s A Dream'.

The album is set for release on 5th June via Transgressive Records. In conjunction with this announcement, Walton has released her first single from the album, 'Sorry Anyway'.

Rosa says, "This song is about not letting anyone hold you back, whether in a relationship or in chasing your ambitions. It’s about doing your own thing, embracing who you are, and not caring about fitting into boxes, and also trying to inspire others to have this attitude. We had fun making it - it’s the flippant, messiness that makes the song, and it was also the beginning of a new vocal style for me. I’m owning all parts of myself.”

She adds, "The idea of doing a solo project was never about stepping away or doing something on my own for the sake of it. It started as writing to process things and stay grounded, and it grew into something shaped by the people around me and the joy of making music together."

'Tell Me It’s A Dream' was co-produced by Walton and David Wrench, and includes contributions from guitarist John Victor, bassist Kam Khan, and drummer Elena Costa.

The tracklisting for 'Tell Me It’s A Dream' reads:

'Heart To Heartbreak'
'Sorry Anyway'
'Taking The Roof Down'
'Wave Machine'
'When Will It All Reveal'
'Halfway Round The World'
'Prettier Things'
'July'
'Romance Is Dead On'
Additionally, Walton has scheduled instore performances in London, Nottingham, and Bristol to coincide with the album’s release.

The dates read:

JUNE
4 Rough Trade Nottingham, UK
5 Rough Trade East, UK
6 Rough Trade Bristol, UK
