Sabrina Carpenter has announced a new Netflix special, 'A Nonsense Christmas', set to arrive on 6th December.
The festive event will see Carpenter perform alongside a series of special guests, including duets with
Chappell Roan,
Kali Uchis, Tyla, and
Shania Twain. The special will feature both holiday classics and Carpenter's own seasonal material.
The project is directed by Sam Wrench, known for directing Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film, and features appearances from Quinta Brunson as Ghost of Present and Sean Astin as Santa Claus. Additional cast members include Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Nico Hiraga, Megan Stalter, Owen Thiele, and Jillian Bell.
Carpenter serves as executive producer alongside her sister, with Bill Perlman, Janelle Lopez Genzink, Michael D. Ratner, Scott Ratner, Simone Spira, and Kfir Goldberg also taking producer roles.
The announcement follows Carpenter's six Grammy nominations for her album 'Short n' Sweet', including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.
