Rina Sawama will be collecting donations at her UK & Ireland live shows this month on behalf of the Trussell Trust, in order to support people struggling with the current cost-of-living crisis.
Addressing her fans (‘Pixels’) via social media last Friday, October 7th, Sawayama said: “I’m sure you’re all aware but the cost of living is increasing so much at the moment, and people are struggling to pay for essential things like heating and food. No one should have to worry about whether they can afford to eat or not. That’s why I’ll be partnering with the Trussell Trust for my UK and Ireland tour this month, supporting food banks as they provide a lifeline to people during this crisis.”
She also provided a full breakdown of her UK & Ireland tour dates, detailing that all dates will be accepting cash donations and five of the ten dates will also be collecting food donations.
