Sincere Engineer have dropped ‘Twist My Tongue’ as they announce time-obsessed fourth album ‘Probable Claws’
New single 'Twist My Tongue' accompanies the announcement of the June release.

Chicago's Sincere Engineer have revealed that their fourth studio album, 'Probable Claws', will arrive on 26th June. Alongside the announcement, the band have dropped a new single and video for 'Twist My Tongue'.
Recorded entirely at Electrical Audio - the Chicago studio founded by the late Steve Albini - the eleven-track record follows 2023's 'Cheap Grills'. A first taste of the album landed in March with the single 'Cooler', which explored what Deanna Belos describes as the record's central preoccupation with time.
"I think the overall theme of this record is being uncomfortable with the passing of time and how quick time passes," Belos explains. "Not all the songs touch on that, there's some songs about me moving too fast through life myself."
Discussing the recording process and what lies ahead, Belos says: "I'm beyond excited for the new chapter of SE! We've done so much touring over the years - and with so many bands that we adore and look up to! I can't believe we're on our fourth record and about to do a big headlining tour of our own to celebrate. We had such a blast recording Probable Claws and it was a privilege to record it at Electrical Audio, which is an absolute dream of a studio, right here in Chicago!"
'Probable Claws' opens with 'Twist My Tongue' and runs through 'Cooler', 'Pilot Light', 'DNA', 'LOL', 'Fast Forward, Rewind', 'Hallucinogenic', 'Arborvitae Evergreen', 'The Perfect Crime', 'Settle Up with Your Downfall' and closer 'Dynamite'.
