Slaney Bay have announced a new EP and shared title-track ‘The Long Way Home’

London indie band Slaney Bay announce May EP release and share title track inspired by a late-night journey with a crush.

Artists: Slaney Bay

Slaney Bay have announced their new EP ‘The Long Way Home’, set for release on 30th May, alongside sharing its title-track.

The South West London quartet, who were named on the Glastonbury 2025 Emerging Talent Longlist, also recently performed at Left Of The Dial and Supersonic festivals, and supported She’s In Parties on their UK tour.

Lead singer Cait Whitley says of the track: “‘The Long Way Home’ is a song about the quiet ache of young love. The idea came from a night when I deliberately missed my final train out of central London, just to spend a few extra moments with my crush. I took the longest route possible with them because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. I didn’t know if they felt the same way, but then I realised – they had taken the long way home too. My journey home felt never-ending, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat for them.”
