SM Entertainment announces new music from aespa, EXO's Kai and more in 2025

SM Entertainment has revealed an extensive 2025 lineup including releases from aespa, Kai, Red Velvet sub-unit Irene & Seulgi and other artists across Q1-Q2.

SM Entertainment have announced their release schedule for the first half of 2025, featuring new music from aespa, EXO's Kai, Red Velvet sub-unit Irene & Seulgi, and more.
The South Korean music label's Q4 2024 earnings report outlines plans for multiple releases across both Q1 and Q2. The first quarter will see new releases from naevis, Red Velvet's Seulgi and NCT's Ten, with naevis set to release a single while both Seulgi and Ten will drop mini-albums.
The second quarter's schedule includes solo debuts from NCT members Mark and Doyoung, with both artists releasing full-length albums. Their bandmate Ten will also release a Japanese mini-album during this period. EXO's Kai, who completed his military service on 10th February, is scheduled to return with a new EP, while Red Velvet sub-unit Irene & Seulgi are set to make their first comeback in nearly five years with a mini-album.
Additional Q2 releases include new mini-albums from aespa, WayV and NCT Wish, while RIIZE will release their debut full-length album. naevis, SHINee and upcoming girl group Hearts2Hearts are also scheduled to release singles during this period.
As part of their 30th anniversary celebrations, SM Entertainment will bring their annual SMTOWN Live concert to London on 28th June.
