Static Dress have released their new single
'face.', following up their 2024 track 'crying.'.
The Leeds quartet explore relationship trauma through the metaphor of a car crash, with the track accompanied by a video that merges surrealist and hyperrealist elements.
The release comes ahead of
Static Dress's first US headline tour, which begins on 17th April in Brooklyn, NYC. The 'crying across the USA' tour will see the band perform across 17 dates, concluding in Atlanta, GA on 11th May. Support comes from Soul Blind, with Omerta, Initiate, Prize Horse, Stand Still, and Cashier joining on select dates.
Following their US dates, Static Dress are set to embark on a European festival run, including appearances at Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Rock For People, and Jera On Air, alongside a main stage slot at Download Festival. The band will also support Motionless In White for select European shows.
