Swim Deep and Lowertown join London’s new Footsteps festival lineup

Footsteps Festival have announced their second wave of acts for their inaugural London multi-venue event, with Swim Deep, TTSSFU, Lowertown, and Caoilfhionn Rose among the new additions.

The five-day festival, taking place from 19th-23rd May across London’s independent music venues, will see artists perform at locations including The Garage, The George Tavern, Moth Club, Servant Jazz Quarters, Scala, Islington Assembly Hall, and EartH Theatre.

British-Ugandan singer-songwriter Daudi Matsiko opens the festival at Servant Jazz Quarters, performing material from his 2024 album ‘The King Of Misery’. Mickey Callisto and Caoilfhionn Rose join the 20th May schedule, performing at The Divine and Oslo respectively, while Atlanta duo Lowertown will headline The Garage on 21st May alongside TTSSFU and Ain’t.

Swim Deep are set to perform at The Grace on 22nd May, ahead of their upcoming album ‘There’s A Big Star Outside’, with support from Low Girl. The festival closes on 23rd May with performances from Pity Party (Girls Club) at The Garage.

These new additions join previously announced acts including John Roseboro, Kate Bollinger, Prima Queen, and Honeyglaze.
