Bon Iver are currently touring the UK, and brought in a special guest for last night's show -
Taylor Swift joined the band on-stage for their collaborative track, ‘
exile’.
The band were performing last night, October 26th, at London’s OVO Arena Wembley when they were joined by two surprise guests for their live rendition of ‘exile’, a track from Taylor Swift’s 2020 LP, ‘folklore’. The track features Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon on shared vocal duties, as well as earning him a co-writing credit.
Swift joined
Vernon on stage as he began the first few verses of the song, with
The National’s
Aaron Dessner also appearing on stage; the musician produced the track, as well as the entirety of ‘
folklore’ and its sister record, ‘
evermore’. This is the first time that ‘
exile’ has been performed live in concert with both singers present.
