The 1975 have confirmed their next single, ‘I’m In Love With You’ is arriving next Thursday, 1st September.
The track is the third to be taken from their fifth album ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’, slated for release on 14th October via Dirty Hit. It follows on from previous previews ‘Part Of The Band’ and ‘Happiness’.
A new video will also be dropping for the track. The clip shared on The 1975’s socials features frontman Matty Healy and his dance partner dressed up in the same clown costume and make up from the video for ‘I Like It When You Sleep…’ fave ‘A Change Of Heart’.
When speaking about the visual recently to Pitchfork, it was confirmed that the video features a Phoebe Bridgers cameo and choreography so intense that that Matty felt like he had heat stroke while filming it.
If all of that wasn’t enough, the band will also announce their UK and Ireland tour plans, expected to be early next year.
‘I’m In Love With You’ got its live debut at Japan Festival Summer Sonic last week.
