The Last Dinner Party have announced their second album, 'From The Pyre'
The Last Dinner Party reveal darker second album 'From The Pyre' with new single, set for October release via Island Records.
The Last Dinner Party are set to release their second album 'From The Pyre' on 17th October via Island Records. The London five-piece have also shared new single 'This Is The Killer Speaking'.
The follow-up to their Number 1 debut album 'Prelude to Ecstasy' was recorded with Grammy Award-winning producer Markus Dravs, known for his work with Wolf Alice, Florence & The Machine, and Bjork. The band headed into the studio in early 2025 to begin work on the record.
Speaking about the new album, the band explain: "This record is a collection of stories, and the concept of album-as-mythos binds them. 'The Pyre' itself is an allegorical place in which these tales originate, a place of violence and destruction but also regeneration, passion and light."
