The nominees for MTV PUSH 2023 have been announced, including FLO, Dylan, piri & tommy and more

Last year's winners, Bad Boy Chiller Crew, have gone on to have an impressive year.

MTV UK and IRE have shared the shortlist for the MTV PUSH 2023 campaign and it includes STONE, Caity Baser and Katie Gregson-MacLeod.

The MTV PUSH 2023 campaign has officially kicked off, and it’s a stacked shortlist of names. The winner will have the backing of MTV UK for the next twelve months, and join a list of impressive names of previous winners, including 2022’s successful group, Bad Boy Chiller Crew.

The list consists of ten rising artists who have had phenomenal years and look set to take 2023 by storm.

First on the list is FLO, who are fresh from a BRITs Rising Star nomination and have enjoyed an unbelievable debut year after the release of ‘Cardboard Box’. They’re joined by Caity Baser, whose straight-talking, blunt as they come pop has sent TikTok into a swirl in 2022.

Elsewhere on the list, Bellah has earned a spot following her first headline show this month, after showcasing the sheer force of her soulful yet sweet vocals all year. venbee brings her liquid drum and bass to the list, whilst the release of Rimzee’s album ‘Cold Feet’ this year sees the rapper and songwriter find a spot on the list too.

Pop princess with a rock-leaning attitude Dylan makes the cut after the release of her debut mixtape, ‘The Greatest Thing I’ll Never Learn’. After dropping her ‘SIMMA DOWN’ EP, ShaSimone also lands a spot on the shortlist, with her teasing but sincere flow taking her skywards this year.

Having dropped one of the most heart-wrenching tracks of the year with ‘complex’, Katie Gregson-MacLeod also finds herself in the mix. Liverpool’s finest STONE round off a crazy year of mixing punk with indie and overall chaos by making an appearance,  and following their debut mixtape ‘froge.mp3’, dance music aficionado’s piri & tommy round out the ten nominees.

More news on the campaign is set to follow, with the winner expected to be announced in the new year.
