Tusks has unveiled another stirring new song – have a listen to ‘Toronto’ below, first on Dork. It’s an expansive track that she wrote in the city itself, and marks the start of what’s set to be a big year for Emily Underhill.
“‘Toronto’ was written in this big loft in downtown Toronto after I’d played Canadian Music Week last year,” she explains. “It’s a pretty intense song about how dark and damaging relationships can be when they take a turn for the worst, which started off as a really reverberant guitar and vocal track that slowly evolved into the dark brooding production it is now.”
