Isle Of Wight artist ugly ozo has announced her debut EP 'stargirl', set for release on 24th October via REX RECS, alongside sharing new single 'madonna'.
The project, helmed by Jessica Baker and produced by Macks Faulkron,* follows the release of lead single 'onto a winner' earlier this summer.
'madonna*' is written from the perspective of an older sister looking out for her younger sibling, and is both deeply personal and widely resonant," Baker explains. "It's a grunge-soaked ode to sisterhood, vulnerability, and the bittersweet feeling of watching someone you love grow into themselves, with an overbearing sense of aching protectiveness.
The EP will be released through REX RECS, a new London-based label operating out of REX Studios.
