Viagra Boys have shared their new single ‘Uno II’, a track about dental anxiety through a dog’s perspective

Swedish post-punk band Viagra Boys release ‘Uno II’ ahead of their upcoming album.

Artists: Viagra Boys

Viagra Boys have shared new single ‘Uno II’, the latest preview of their upcoming self-titled album.

The Stockholm post-punk band’s new track explores themes of conspiratorial anxiety through the lens of vocalist Sebastian Murphy‘s Italian greyhound, who experienced ongoing dental issues. “He goes to this place, then wakes up in some weird room, and he’s missing his teeth,” Murphy explains.

‘viagr aboys’ has been co-produced by Pelle Gunnerfeldt alongside the band and features artwork by Leo Park. The album follows 2022’s ‘Cave World’, with Murphy noting a shift in focus for the new material. “The whole political thing was exhausting,” Murphy says. “This is like a self-titled album but a bit simple and stupid – because that’s how I am.”
