Wet Leg have shared a snippet of their next single, ‘Angelica’ – listen

The new song – the latest to come from their forthcoming debut album – is set to arrive next Monday (28th February).

Artists: Wet Wet Leg

Wet Leg have shared a snippet of their next single, ‘Angelica’.

The band announced they’d be dropping the next single from their self-titled debut album recently – and now they’ve given us a first listen to a short section of it proper.

The clip, posted to TikTok, can be played below. It features the lyrics: “I don’t wanna follow you on the ‘gram / I don’t wanna listen to your band / I don’t know why I haven’t left yet / Don’t want none of this.”

It also confirms that we’ll be getting the song in full on Monday (28th February).

The duo confirmed the news recently by posting a clip of Rhian Teasdale playing the track’s opening riff. They also confirmed the track is titled ‘Angelica’ on Twitter, sharing a pre-save link.

It’ll be the fifth song to arrive from the pair, as they approach the release of their self-titled debut album this April. It follows on from debut cut ‘Chaise Longue’, ‘Wet Dream’, ‘Too Late Now’ and ‘Oh No’.

Wet Leg appeared on the cover of our 2022 Hype List issue, focusing on the biggest new acts for the year ahead. You can read the feature in full here.
