The Wombats have confirmed a huge headline tour, and dropped their new single 'Blood On The Hospital Floor'

The Wombats have shared their new single 'Blood On The Hospital Floor' and a European tour.

The Liverpool trio's latest track - which was debuted at Reading & Leeds - arrives alongside a video directed by James Slater.

Speaking about the new single, Matthew "Murph" Murphy explains: "The idea behind 'Blood On The Hospital Floor' is that things that might seem difficult in life can often have a simple resolution. Things are not always as bad as they first may seem. The analogy of mopping up blood from the hospital floor - cleaning up the mess and keeping going."

'Oh! The Ocean' was recorded in Echo Park, LA, during six weeks of sessions with producer John Congleton. It's out on 21st February.
