Jessica Ellen Cornish, known professionally as Jessie J, is an English singer and songwriter born on 27 March 1988. She signed with Republic Records and gained prominence with her debut single, 'Do It like a Dude,' which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart. Her single 'Price Tag' topped the charts in nineteen countries, including the UK. Her debut album, Who You Are (2011), peaked at number two in the UK and produced singles such as 'Nobody's Perfect,' 'Who You Are,' 'Domino,' and 'Laserlight,' all of which reached the top ten in the UK. Jessie J was the first British female artist to have six top-ten singles from a single studio album. Her second album, Alive (2013), reached the top five on the UK Albums Chart and included the singles 'Wild' and 'It's My Party.' Her third album, Sweet Talker (2014), was preceded by the single 'Bang Bang,' which debuted at number one in the UK and achieved multi-platinum status worldwide.
