Anth and Conor Maynard trade verses over a breakup narrative that pivots between English and Spanish. Maynard opens with the voice of someone betrayed, cycling through the familiar arithmetic of a failed relationship: time wasted, trust broken, lies accumulated. Anth counters with a sharper edge, turning the hurt into material, rapping about an ex who accused him of infidelity whilst conducting her own. The production sits somewhere between pop and hip-hop, built to carry both singers' melodic instincts without sacrificing the song's emotional weight. The chorus settles on a Spanish phrase, 'Te bote', which translates as a decisive ejection from his life. Both artists circle the same wound from different angles: the paranoia, the deception, the moment when staying becomes impossible. Maynard's final verse strips away the specifics to reach something more universal about the cost of trying to make something broken work. Anth's Spanish verses add texture and directness, a refusal to soften the accusation. What emerges is a song about the clarity that comes after anger fades, when you can finally see the other person clearly and let them go.
