About This Track
'Don't Be' by Blur is a 2003 single from the album 'Think Tank (Special Edition)'. The lyrics issue a cautionary, slightly ominous plea, urging someone not to sink so low, warning that control can come "right from the start", and pushing back against a destination of conflict and a pull towards the night. A refrain of layered, wordless singing provides a hypnotic counterpoint to the directness of the verses, keeping the mood irresolute, half-melodic, half-alarm.
"Don't Be" is a track by Blur, from the album Think Tank (Special Edition), released 7th July 2003. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 20 articles about Blur.
