'Ernold Same' by Blur is a 1995 rock track from the album 'The Great Escape'. The lyrics follow Ernold Same through a day that feels mechanically repeated, down to waking in the same bed, looking in the same mirror, making the same frown, and catching the same train from the same station. In a deadpan, routine-heavy sequence, he sits in the same seat with the same “nasty stain”, alongside the weary sense of doing everything again. It is an almost comic portrait of sameness turning into a kind of trap.
"Ernold Same" is a track by Blur, from the album The Great Escape, released 5th September 1995. The track is 2:07 long. It's filed under Rock. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 20 articles about Blur.

Noel Gallagher’s handwritten ‘Live Forever’ lyrics and Jarvis Cocker’s pink silk glove are among the lots.

They also gave a live debut to this week's new single, 'The Narcissist'.

'The Narcissist' is a hat tipped to a band more than comfortable in who they are now, still capable of being just as brilliant as they always were.
As if they haven't already got enough bangers of their own.
It's taken from new album 'SCUM', set for release this August.
“Blur are not doing anything this year as a band.”
