Lyrics

Backwards

[Verse 1]

I was high as the moon falling down to you

I was a sea of stars shining bright for you

I was on my way back to you

But I was only

[Chorus]

Falling backwards now

On my way back to you

Falling backwards now

On my way back to you

Back to you

[Verse 2]

I was down and out

I was twisting down the vine for you

In between and out

You could have seen the light shining just for you

On my way back to you

Through the thick and thin, I would pull for you

On my way just for you

But I was only

[Chorus]

Falling backwards now

On my way back to you

Falling backwards now

On my way back to you

[Bridge]

But I don't think I'll get too far

Without gravity

But I don't think I'll get too far

Without you and me

[Chorus]

Falling backwards now

On my way back to you

Falling backwards now

On my way back to you

Back to you

Back to you
