Lyrics

Carousel

Ooh, I've been singing in my heart for you
I've been singing in my heart for you now
Can you hear it whistling?
Ooh, I've been ready since the start for you
I've been singing in my heart for you now
Can you hear it whistling?

I didn't long for you
I was shattered in pieces
I was spinning around and around and 'round
In a carousel of heartache
I didn't long for you
You were just what I needed
Now I wake up to the sound, to the sound
The sound of a super lover highway

The heart, the beat, the drums, the bass

Ooh, I've been singing in my heart for you
I've been singing in my heart for you now
Can you hear it whistling?
Ooh, I've been ready since the start for you
I've been singing in my heart for you now
Can you hear it whistling?

Now when I call for you
Can you hear it in silence?
'Cause I took all of the love and lust you need
And sent it to your daydreams
Now that I long for you
I wanna know where your mind is
My mind is the color of the summer
Singing opera in a purple field of daisies

Ooh, I've been singing in my heart for you
I've been singing in my heart for you now
Can you hear it whistling?
Ooh, I've been ready since the start for you
I've been singing in my heart for you now
Can you hear it whistling?

The heart, the beat, the drums, the bass
A love, a lust, a catch, a chase
I want you in a hundred ways
I sang this song to make your day

The heart, the beat, the drums, the bass
A love, a lust, a catch, a chase
I want you in a hundred ways
I sang this song to make your day
