Lyrics

Lightning

[Verse 1]

You call my name

From a million miles away

I run to you

Like lightning from the rain

You lose it all

Will you guide me like the stars?

You lead the way

And I'll follow the beat of your heart

[Chorus]

'Cause you are the only thing I've ever gotten right

Nothing comes close, you're the only one I'm letting inside

'Cause you are the only thing I've ever gotten right

Nothing comes close, you're the only one I need in this life

[Verse 2]

And all I know

Heaven, it's in your eyes

It feels like home

Somewhere I'm not alone

I'd be lying

If I said I didn't need you now

Because I do

I do, I do, I do

[Chorus]

'Cause you are the only thing I've ever gotten right

Nothing comes close, you're the only one I'm letting inside

'Cause you are the only thing I've ever gotten right

Nothing comes close, you're the only one I need in this life

Nothing comes close, you're the only one I need in this life
