'Miracle' arrives as the fourth single from Chvrches' third album, a track that strips back the band's usual maximalism in favour of something more direct. Lauren Mayberry's voice cuts through clean synth lines as she negotiates the gap between hope and resignation, asking not for the impossible but simply for acknowledgement: "if love is enough, could you let it show?" The song finds its power in restraint, each element placed with precision rather than abundance. Working with producer Steve Mac alongside the band themselves, 'Miracle' sits comfortably within Chvrches' established world whilst feeling notably refined. The repeating refrain beds in like a hook that's already lived in your head for years. A Dork four-star record, it exemplifies how the band have learned to make pop music that feels both immediate and considered, bright without being breathless.
