About This Track
The title flips the credit-score acronym into a metaphor for trust in the drug trade, Pusha T and Malice trading verses over Pharrell Williams production that strips the sound back to hard edges and space. Stove God Cooks anchors the chorus, his delivery turning the phrase inside out until it lands as threat and boast in equal measure. The track appears on Clipse's fourth studio album, 'Let God Sort Em Out', released in July 2025. Pusha T opens with late-night hallways and the weight of moving product, the imagery precise and unsparing: 'Dance music on my neck / Where's your water bottle? / Diamonds, the light show'. The credit-score threshold becomes the barrier to entry, 850 or bust, the language of finance repurposed for a world where betrayal ends in a trunk and repo vans circle the block. Malice follows with a verse built on compact menace, the Glock 27 fitting snug in the waistline, the brick walk second to none. The song received critical acclaim, the chorus singled out for the way it condenses the album's themes into a single refrain that refuses to let go.
