About This Track
'Clocks/Relojes' by Coldplay is a 2019 track whose lyrics find a narrator slipping into crisis and pleading for something unsaid to be brought into view. The imagery is urgent and theatrical, with lights going out, tides that resist, and the pressure of being set down on their knees. Threat and wonder jostle in the same frame, too, from a nameless trouble to a tiger waiting to be tamed, all under the repeated insistence that salvation is out of reach. One of the more vivid moments arrives in the line “Shoot an apple off my head”.
"Clocks/Relojes" is a track by Coldplay, released 4th September 2019. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 12 articles about Coldplay.
