Lyrics

enemies

[Intro]

(Fortune Swan, stop that shit)

[Chorus]

Yeah

I'm in my head way too much

Express myself just tryna get out

Like to stand around with your hands out, but of course it's still not enough (Who-who)

Enemies drain my energy, but I act like I don't give a fuck

Hoping for the best, this heavy on my chest

Everything I like be turning to dust

[Verse]

Yeah, this shit blowing my mind

Waste my time, that you'll never get back

Said I'm out of line, it gets asinine

Because people want me to react

Looking at my ceiling, at my phone

Nowadays I can't be left alone

Guy I knew gon' get exposed

Funny that you thought he was your bro, woah

New day, but the same shit

Got a new life, but I hate it

Try to do right, think I'm too nice, but at this point I embrace it

Try not to care but it's hard, rip out your heart

Blacked out bitch I woke up in the yard

Trust me you ain't gonna get too far

Far, far, far, far

Don't think you see what I'm seeing

Want me to give him a reason

Got no control, get deleted

Found him, he no longer breathing

I'm human, way far from decent

I bite my neck till I'm bleeding

Confused on why they keep speaking

I'll find a way to get even, yeah

[Chorus]

Yeah

I'm in my head way too much

Express myself just tryna get out

Like to stand around with your hands out, but of course it's still not enough (Who-who)

Enemies drain my energy, but I act like I don't give a fuck

Hoping for the best, this heavy on my chest

Everything I like be turning to dust

ericdoa: "It really feels like I found my purpose in life, even though that's wild corny"

Loads of acts claim to sound like the future, but 18-year-old up-and-coming ericdoa could well be it. Heading quickly for the big leagues, and with a forthcoming collab EP with glaive on the way, the buzz is real.
