About This Track

‘myself’ by ericdoa is taken from the album ‘MÚSICA DIVINO’ and released in 2026. The lyrics circle on self-doubt and restless self-fashioning, weighing the comfort of change against the difficulty of trusting anyone, especially when the speaker cannot trust their own judgement. A recurring refrain returns to the wordplay of “myself”, with lines that describe building barriers only to have them undone, and then immediately questioning how trust can exist without self-belief.

"myself" is a track by ericdoa, from the album MÚSICA DIVINO, released 1st July 2026. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 4 articles about ericdoa.

Lyrics

myself

Lyrics from Snippets & Live Performance

[Chorus]

No time away is gonna do me well

I'm liking the idea of being someone else

I put up walls that you break down yourself

How can I trust you when I don't trust myself?

Myself, myself

How can I trust you when I don't trust myself?

Myself, myself

[Verse]

[?] life ain't fair, uh

Wanna take my spot, boy, try it if you dare-dare

If it ain’t 'bout a check then how could I care?

[?] ain't nobody there, uh

The way you cross my mind when I lay with you tonight

The air in between us drivin' me crazy

Baby I wish you just said that your life was on the line (Yeah)

'Cause I know I ain’t choosing my, my

[Chorus]

M-Myself, myself

Oh there ain’t no one left to blame but my

Myself, myself

Who even am I if I'm not being

My-myself, myself?

How can I trust you when I don't trust myself

Myself, myself

How can I trust you when I don't trust myself?

Loads of acts claim to sound like the future, but 18-year-old up-and-coming ericdoa could well be it. Heading quickly for the big leagues, and with a forthcoming collab EP with glaive on the way, the buzz is real.
