FLO delivers a breakup anthem built on a single, devastating image: the cardboard box. The song opens with a confession of infidelity discovered, then pivots to a narrator who has reached the limit of her patience. There is no negotiation here, no second chances. She changes the locks, changes her number, and begins the practical work of severance. The track's power lies in its refusal to wallow. Where a softer song might linger on hurt, 'Cardboard Box' moves straight to action and a kind of cold satisfaction. The chorus lands its hook with brutal efficiency: you may be crying, but I'm not. By the final verse, the narrator is specific about what goes into that box, mixing the material and the metaphorical, jeans alongside the dreams she was sold. It is a song about reclaiming agency through the simple act of putting someone out.
"Cardboard Box" is a single by FLO, from the album The Lead - EP, released 7th July 2022. The track is 2:41 long. It's filed under Contemporary R&B. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 20 articles about FLO.
