Gone

It’s about that time of the year

It’s about that month when I start to feel

Like I've been in one place far too long

I can feel my skin starting to crawl

Don't get me wrong because I love all of you

And I love all the stupid shit that we do

But it's something inside me I can't control

I need to keep moving so I never get cold

Cause my clothes always smell like cigarettes

And there's beer bottle caps lying in my bed

Every night I think I'm doing fine

Until I wake up in the morning wishing I was gone

Back on my own back where I began 

Back to feeling like all I got are these plans 

And though the sky is clear the grounds not shaking

I'm stuck in a constant state of waiting 

For something to break something to fall 

Something to make me feel like I'm whole

And I'm counting the days I'm feeling the pull

I'm running away to make sense of it all
