Korn have shared their first new material since 2022, 'Reward the Scars'
A Diablo IV collaboration ends a four-year wait for new material.
About This Track
'Trash' is a portrait of emotional numbness and cruelty. Korn's narrator is someone who recognises his own capacity for harm, the conscience that troubles him, but cannot or will not stop. He cycles through relationships with indifference, aware of the damage he inflicts but unable to feel genuine remorse. The song's power lies not in shock value but in this unflinching self-examination: a man who knows he is broken and continues anyway. The track moves between confession and defiance. Verses establish the pattern of seduction and abandonment; the chorus pivots to a kind of anguished self-interrogation, asking why empathy exists only to torment him. There is no redemption here, no turning point. Instead, Korn sustains the tension between self-awareness and self-destruction, letting the repetition of "I just throw you away" become both admission and refusal.
"Trash" is a track by Korn, from the album Issues, released 15th November 1999. The track is 3:27 long. It's filed under Rock. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 4 articles about Korn.
