Bella Poarch and Lauv have teamed up for a "cheeky" new single, 'Crush'
"It’s about being in the moment and indulging in the simple things like binging Love Island," she says.
About This Track
'Sims' frames a chance encounter as a missed connection, imagining how differently things might have unfolded had the timing been right. Lauv wishes aloud for alternative scenarios: meeting at a museum instead of a Halloween party, having the clarity of a video game where mistakes can be rewound, or simply being sober enough to hold onto the moment. The song dwells in the gap between what happened and what might have been. The track builds its melancholy around a simple, powerful idea: that the right person at the wrong time is its own kind of loss. Each verse sketches a different fantasy of correction, each chorus returning to the same refrain of regret. It's a song about powerlessness dressed up as wishful thinking, the kind of late-night reflection that comes when you know you've already let someone slip away.
"Sims" is a single by Lauv, from the album ~How I'm Feeling~, released 2nd October 2019. The track is 2:35 long. It's filed under Pop. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 14 articles about Lauv.

Many musicians tackle their second album by striving for a new maturity, often becoming insular and dull in the process. Not Lauv.
If pop really is the greatest art form - and it is - Lauv is already one of its masters.

It's been a week packed with new music. We've sifted through the pile and plucked out a few of the best.

During a brief visit to London, we pinned the current-and-future pop megastar down to work out just why he’s so massive.
