About the Artist
Lyrics
I think "My Love" is probably one of the proudest... one of the proudest moments of my career so far, I think. Like, the video, just like, everything about it. And that actually I think it's definitely a fan favorite. Everybody in that room sings that song so, it feels like an electric moment when I do "My Love". I knew I wanted something anthemic, and I just think, yeah, we'll do something sort of different genres that were kind of, like, put together. I wanted to create something that was just a bit like, 'What is this? This sounds a different, a bit more fresh, you know?' Um... there was quite a lot of us in the room aswell, there was like Dyo, Cam, Progression, so it just felt like, as we were making it, it just felt like a party, and it just kept getting better and better and like, for me it's one of those songs that if feels like it lifts you up, and when I started feeling that, I was like, 'Okay, this has to be my next single'. I mean, I couldn't open with "My Love", because it's like, it's like one of my favorites and one of my best, and I wanted to keep, I just wanted keep them waiting for it, to be honest, like... it's actually the encore.
