About This Track

'Elastigirl' stretches into punchy synthesiser territory with the kind of high-energy confidence that defines Lisa's approach to pop stardom. The track title nods to the superhero from The Incredibles franchise, and the song itself trades on that metaphor of flexibility and resilience. Lisa declares her versatility over a driving beat, moving between rap and vocal delivery with the gymnastic ease that comes from years of training. The production gleams with expensive, arena-ready clarity, each beat and synth precisely placed. Yet for all its technical brilliance, the track exemplifies a broader tension running through 'Alter Ego'. The song works as a showcase of Lisa's chameleon-like ability to inhabit different pop archetypes, but it also feels like part of a calculated business plan rather than a deeper artistic statement. A Dork three-star record, 'Elastigirl' delivers exactly what it promises: a high-budget pop spectacle. What lingers is a question the album never quite answers: who Lisa actually is when the costumes come off and the personas are packed away.

"Elastigirl" is a track by LISA, from the album Alter Ego, released 28th February 2025. The track is 2:58 long. It's filed under Pop. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 7 articles about LISA.

Lyrics

Elastigirl

Flex so hard, think I am elastic
Swipe so fast like I'm made of plastic
Twist you around like Mr. Fantastic
I am the classic

Pressed so tight, gotta itty bom-bom
Catched that flight, don't know where it came from
Stressed so good, gonna leave a light on
(Da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da-da)

Oh, baby, this ain't a performance, it's a show
I can be so unforgettable
You'll be calling me Ms. Incredible

I'm a, I'm a elastic girl, try it on me, I'm flexible
Wrap my body right 'round your world, la-la-la-la-la-la
I'm a, I'm a elastic girl, try it on me, I'm flexible
Wrap my body right 'round your world, la-la-la-la-la-la

Stretch me, stretch me out, flex me, flex me now
Baby, watch mе drop it down, I can bend and make it bounce
I'm a, I'm a еlastic girl, try it on me, I'm flexible
Wrap my body right 'round your world, la-la-la-la-la-la

I'm a bounce like an acrobat
You can watch me hit the ground (ground)
And snap right back, that's a metaphor for life (that's life)
And I'm up on top, I don't wanna spend no change
'Cause I spend it on my rocks (my rocks)

Oh, baby, this ain't a performance, it's a show
I can be so unforgettable
You be calling me Ms. Incredible (and if you didn't already know)

Stretch me, stretch me out, flex me, flex me now
Baby, watch me drop it down, I can bend and make it bounce
I'm a, I'm a elastic girl, try it on me, I'm flexible
Wrap my body right 'round your world, la-la-la-la-la-la

Baby, you won't believe your eye-eyes (mm-mm)
You never had it so divine (oh, mm-mm)
Elastic girl around your mind (I'm just saying)
Oh, my-my-my-my-my
You wanna ride, you wanna ride-ide-ide

I'm a, I'm a elastic girl, try it on me, I'm flexible
Wrap my body right 'round your world, la-la-la-la-la-la
I'm a, I'm a elastic girl, try it on me, I'm flexible
Wrap my body right 'round your world, la-la-la-la-Lalisa

Stretch me, stretch me out, flex me, flex me now
Baby, watch me drop it down, I can bend and make it bounce
I'm a, I'm a elastic girl, try it on me, I'm flexible
Wrap my body right 'round your world, la-la-la-la-la-la

Wrap my body right 'round your world
I'm a, I'm a elastic girl
Wrap my body right 'round your world
I'm a, I'm a elastic girl
