'LOL' by Mabel is a 2022 track on the album 'About Last Night...'. Its lyrics place the speaker in a tense, mocking exchange, with attention on checking someone’s whereabouts, frustration, and a blunt refusal to be implicated in a private arrangement, capped by a taunting tone. One line, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”, frames the curiosity as either intrusive or performative, then gets answered by retreat. The verse and pre-chorus lean into confrontation and sarcasm, treating jealousy as a form of comedy rather than a plea.
"LOL" is a track by Mabel, from the album About Last Night..., released 15th July 2022. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 12 articles about Mabel.
