'Full Circle' charts the grinding repetition of mental struggle with unflinching clarity. Movements build the track around a central metaphor of cyclical collapse and recovery, the narrator caught in waves of clinical depression that pull them under, only to surface and begin again. The song refuses easy catharsis; instead it names the pattern itself as the enemy, the knowledge that "this has happened before, it'll happen again" becoming its own weight to carry. The lyrical voice moves between states of acute crisis and hard-won perspective. Early verses depict physical and emotional disintegration; later passages acknowledge the necessity of struggle itself, the understanding that "without a struggle, there can't be progress" even as that struggle threatens to crush. The final section pivots toward something like hope, not through denial of the cycle but through a commitment to endure it, to move from feeling cornered toward the possibility of change. It is a song about recovery that does not pretend recovery is simple or linear.
"Full Circle" is a track by Movements, released 19th October 2017. The track is 3:25 long. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 3 articles about Movements.
