About This Track

'Cannibal' by Pendulum is an electronic track from the album 'Inertia', released in 2025. The lyrics set up a lurid, flirtatious blend of beauty and menace, cycling between “pretty, animal, international” imagery and darker talk of dirty dreams and a ready, trigger-happy mood. Against that push-pull, the central hook asks for an intimate act framed as predatory appetite. It is a confrontational scenario staged in the register of dirty desire, with the voice repeatedly urging action while the language keeps switching from glossy to grim.

"Cannibal" is a single by Pendulum, from the album Inertia, released 21st August 2025. The track is 3:21 long. It's filed under Electronic. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 1 article about Pendulum.

Lyrics

Cannibal

Pretty, animal, international
Dirty dreams, dirty soul
Come on baby won't you kiss me like a cannibal
Trigger happy, yeah i'm ready to go

Pretty, animal, international
Dirty dreams, dirty soul
Come on baby won't you kiss me like a cannibal
Trigger happy, yeah i'm ready to go

I'm feeling reloaded, a little unholy
I'm feeling lock stocked and smoking out, i can't control it
I'm feeling x-rated, sharpened and serrated
Show me what you got, i really hope it's my black-and-gold-plated

My mind is going (medicine is overrated)
But i'm medicated (i love it so you have to hate it)
Beneath your fingers (so close i can almost taste it)
My vision's fading (i love it so you have to hate it)
Give me the poison (medicine is overrated)
Fuck what you're saying (i love it so you have to hate it)
I'm feeling primal
Filthy animal, kiss me like a cannibal!

Pretty, animal, international
Dirty dreams, dirty soul
Come on baby won't you kiss me like a cannibal
Trigger happy, yeah i'm ready to go

We're good for health, bad for education
Let 'em move pills for every occasion
I keep a friend tucked under my shirt
I miss my old problems, yeah the new ones are worse

My mind is going
But i'm medicated
Beneath your fingers
My vision's fading
Give me the poison

Fuck what you're saying
I'm feeling primal
Filthy animal, kiss me like a cannibal!

Pretty, animal, international
Dirty dreams, dirty soul
Come on baby won't you kiss me like a cannibal
Trigger happy, yeah i'm ready to go

Pretty, animal, international
Dirty dreams, dirty soul
Come on baby won't you kiss me like a cannibal
Trigger happy, yeah i'm ready to go
