About the Artist
Lyrics
[Spoken] I feel like loss is one of those universal experiences that everyone is bound to go through. It's inevitable and most of the time you can't do anything to change it. But if anything, loss brings a new perspective and gratitude into your life. You instantly look at things in a different way and you're forced to adapt I lost myself a few years ago due to my disability. Losing myself was the most upsetting thing to happen to me and I think losing myself was so much worse than losing anyone that I'd loved because losing yourself, you have no one else to fall back on. It's just you Losing someone can change you as a person it's something that has affected me but I channeled out some of the feelings so I haven't really, you know, grieved enough but it's, it is what it is, uh, music actually helps me process it a lot. If you can't talk, you can write it down or sing it in a song. And that's just what helped me a lot. Instead of talking, I think I actually grieved through music. It was a healthy coping mechanism for me because talking just makes me feel everything again. So, yeah, that's lost for me
