About This Track

'Celebration' by Temples is a 2017 alternative track from 'Volcano'. The lyrics tilt towards mental restlessness and shifting perception, with lines about thoughts gathering energy, losing the grip on what feels real, and everything starting to fall apart before moving into “something new”. A sense of transformation runs through the song, even as it returns to the word celebration as if that rush of feeling might be both coping mechanism and turning point.

"Celebration" is a track by Temples, from the album Volcano, released 3rd March 2017. The track is 4:19 long. It's filed under Alternative. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 7 articles about Temples.

Lyrics

Celebration

Can't stop my thoughts from gathering energy
Can't separate the real from day to day
Thoughts from unfamiliar
Outside the picture
Life is strange in some familiar way

Before you know where you are
If falls apart

Celebration
In control of you
Transformation
Into something new

Before you know where you are
It falls apart

Can't seem to keep my head in reality
Fear and emotion day to day
Strange in familiar ways
Relevant thoughts have strayed

Before you know where you are
It falls apart

Celebration
In control of you
Transformation
Into something new

Celebration
In control of you
Transformation
Into something new

Before you know where you are
It falls apart
Before you know where you are
It falls apart
Before you know where you are
It falls apart
Before you know where you are
It falls apart
Before you know where you are
It falls apart
