About This Track

Young Thug and Metro Boomin construct a trap anthem built on repetition and swagger. The production is minimal, letting the 808s breathe whilst Thug's vocal delivery dominates the mix. He cycles through the same refrain with minor variations, each iteration sharpening the boast: swag as a physical substance that covers his body and shoes, a posture of unstoppable confidence that bleeds into threat. The verses shift between braggadocio and street narrative. Thug moves from talk of weapons and evasion to claims of abundance: weed, money, children. His flow is conversational, almost conversational, the rhymes loose enough to feel natural rather than constructed. Metro's production stays restrained throughout, letting the repetition of the hook do the heavy lifting. It's a track that trades complexity for immediacy, the kind of song built to lodge itself in your head through sheer insistence rather than melodic invention.

"All Over" is a track by Young Thug, from the album Slime Season 2, released 31st October 2015. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 1 article about Young Thug.

Lyrics

All Over

[Intro]

(808 Mafia)

(Metro Boomin want some more, nigga)

[Chorus]

Swag all over my body, all on my shoes, hey, 'ey, 'ey

Killin', I'm killin' these niggas, I'm breakin' that news, hey, hey

Swag all over my body, all on my shoes

You know Metro higher than a mountain, where my Dew?

Hey, I got swag all on my motherfuckin' shoes

You know I got swag all on my motherfuckin' shoes, hey

[Verse 1]

Bomboclaat, pass me the rock, ayy

Thug life like Pac, ayy

32 rounds in that Glock

Bomboclaat state trooper tried to catch a nigga with the Glock

Tell 'em mind they business, bitch, I'm tryna run a shop

Pussy nigga growin' loose lips, so I bought a mop

Anytime they come down to me, I get it first like I had stocks

Take me a trip to Colorado to smoke Moon Rocks, hey

[Bridge]

No way, no way, no way

She can't save me, you can't leave me

She's not from Georgia, but she a peach

[Verse 2]

I'm swaggin' from head to toe, bousin

I got so much weed in my blunt, I could make a fuckin' mullet

You lil' niggas are fake actors, we just call you puppets

I don't move unless it's 'bout money, I jump like rabbit

Rabbit, rabbit, bitch, I'm jumpin' like rabbit

And I'm twice as green, you dig?

I got hella kids, you dig?

And they roll my weed, you dig?

[Interlude]

Ayy, you dig?

You dig?

Do you dig?
