With a packed schedule of European and UK live dates on the horizon, Austin four-piece
Die Spitz have released a video for
'American Porn', taken from their debut record '
Something to Consume', available now via Third Man Records.
The band's
Eleanor Livingston says: "It's a very angry song. And I want the people that come to our shows just because we're pretty women or they want to sexualize or objectify us to listen to that song and tell us if they're still a fan."
Across the album as a whole, the band channel a range of themes beyond the political. Livingston added: "There's a political side to it, but addiction and love can also be all-consuming."
Die Spitz - comprised of Ava Schrobilgen, Chloe De St. Aubin, Eleanor Livingston and Kate Halter - head to Europe and the UK this June, with stops including Download Festival, Hellfest, Pinkpop and a Foo Fighters support at Liverpool's Anfield Stadium.
